Question 1
(a) Why is it as God loves us and wants the best for us, that people are not given the opportunity to succeed so they can do his will and praise him? answer?
answer?
Question 5 - Where a pension is referred to it means approximately only a little more than the amount of money needed to survive. God may consider this comparison too extravagant, especially in some countries, where the majority of people would be hungry and earning much less than a pension. Everyone should work hard, and we do need people providing essential goods and services. If things were fair and there was no corruption, there would be plenty of money to go around. The problem is that almost everyone is trying to do something to make money, in a corrupt environment where there is not enough money to go around. It could be satisfactory for everyone to try to make money if the system was fairer and the hardest working and most honest Christian people were succeeding financially. But often they lose more money then they make. Christians financially fortunate enough to be in professions earning in excess of a pension could retain them if it is an essential or beneficial service in God's sight and if they use all their excess for God's will. We do need people to provide money for God's purposes. However, it is so difficult to earn in excess of a pension. Almost no one is doing what the Bible commands, which is putting either all their time, or all money that they earn in excess of an approximate pension into informing people of the truth or helping people. Therefore people who don't earn more than a pension may be best not seeking to earn more than a pension. Instead they may be better off doing volunteer ministry or helping others. Many Christians try to get into a career or business hoping to earn more money than a pension so they can give the excess to missions. You would think in this case God would allow them. But often they fail to earn more money than a pension so their endeavor to do Gods will did not eventuate and their time is wasted. (a) Why is this so?
Question 6 - God's purpose is full commitment, either directly or indirectly, to serving him and his ministry. Many people including Christians??? do not have this commitment. Christians??? are doing or buying things that rich people accept as normal such as having holidays that cost money; playing serious competitive sport; being involved in unnecessary education; tidying or cleaning their property more than needed for show; gardening unless it is for practical purposes such as shade, privacy or food; fancy or unnecessary cooking not needed to be healthy; earning and keeping an income greater than a pension; buying products, property or services not needed for survival or God's will; buying possessions more expensive than needed; investing in places that don't do God's will, (especially from large companies who make big profits to pay their greedy executives); being involved in any of the arts that don't glorify God; toys that are more expensive than which can be afforded by most in the third world; buying gifts that people don't need; having parties that cost money and don't glorify God; jewelry; cosmetics; fashions; ornaments; decorations; Christmas trees; pets with no practical benefit; Easter eggs; unhealthy food; gambling; drugs; souvenirs; entertainment's or enjoyments not for God's will; reading books, magazines and novels, which do not educate, towards Godliness and watching programs such as movies that do not inform people for God's purpose. Most people in the world would be so unfortunate that they would not be able to afford or do many of these things. These things are highly esteemed by men. Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. Almost everyone at the end of an age is deceived as in Noah's time and Lot's time when only one was saved. If people are doing and asking for the correct things, God promises that they will receive a blessing. Presently many are asking but not receiving a blessing. James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (a) Are people not receiving blessings because they are doing the previously mentioned things?
