Are Christians??? deceived?
Most people despite working hard in the world earn less than a pension pays. In countries of high standards of living this includes most small businesses whose proprietors often work over 60 hrs a week. Sources indicate 95% make a loss, mostly not due to their own fault, but to unfortunate circumstances, greedy people and corrupt governments. These causes also result in people having to battle for years in poverty, unsuccessfully looking for work, despite trying so hard. The apostles either gave their paid occupations or almost all their money away, to serve God's purpose. 1John 3:17 If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Luke3:11 John answered, "The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same." 1John 3:17, Luke 3:11 indicate that all money you receive in excess of an approximate pension rate must be used for God's desire, as explained at http://www.truechristianity.com/christian . The above may not apply if everyone is well off, but unfortunately this is not the case. So please consider poor people who work harder then you before you consider unnecessary things for yourself that cost money such as holidays, parties, wage rises, fashions, luxuries, entertainments, unnecessary gifts, investments in well off businesses, jewellery, etc. Please help a lobby group for the poor www.advantagein.com
